The Seven Quality of Life Categories

The books, audios & videos, informational content and resource links we provide will be organized into the following “Quality of Life” categories considered by psychologists and psychiatrists alike to be essential for optimizing one’s quality and life.

MENTAL WELLBEING. A positive self-concept – consisting of the self-ideal, self-image and self-esteem – provides the foundation for living a quality life. Peace of mind – freedom from fear, anger and guilt – is critical to personal achievement.
PHYSICAL WELLBEING. Good health and a high level of energy are essential components of a quality life. Instinctively we all want to live to an old age and live in good health. Our focus will be upon nutritional health, weight management and physical conditioning. One of the features of this category will be a unique, comprehensive and proprietary online Resource Your Life Health Assessment Profile.

SPIRITUAL FULFILLMENT. Spiritual fulfillment is requisite to a life of inner peace, and inner peace is requisite to living a quality life. Most of us need “to believe in something,” to have faith in some purpose or goal outside the self. The subject of spiritual fulfillment is thoroughly explored in books and tape programs by such diverse authors as Dr. Wayne Dyer, the Rev. Billy Graham, Dr. Larry Dossey, Deepak Chopra and Dr. Joan Borysenko.

ENDURING RELATIONSHIPS. The ability to enter into and maintain long-term, intimate, mature relationships with other people is one of the cornerstones for living a quality life. We all need love, especially from those whom we love. Who we are as human beings is expressed by the quality of our relationships with others.
SEXUAL FULFILLMENT. Sex is life. A fulfilling sex life is essential to a positive self-concept and to the joy of living. We will provide visitors to this subject category with an extensive inventory of online content, together with books and tape programs that cover subjects such as sexual health, sexual technique and overcoming sexual dysfunction.
FINANCIAL FREEDOM. It’s impossible to enjoy life when you are preoccupied with financial worries. Less than 5% of people retire financially secure; over 80% retire broke, dependent upon others for survival. Subjects covered include: working with a financial planner; retirement planning; investment strategies; debt management; credit repair; and, creating a secondary income.
SELF-DISCOVERY & SELF-ACTUALIZATION. Within this category we will provide a means to self-discovery via a number of online and offline personality profiles and aptitude tests. “Self-Actualization” is the belief that we are becoming everything we are capable of becoming as human beings – an essential component of a quality life.
